Volunteering

Volunteers need to register. One can download a Word Version or PDF. Please print and mail it in or save it and fill it out and then email your new saved file to us.

Be aware there may be drumming every night that last until 11 pm. Friday night honors the Native American Drum and Thursday and Saturday night is Open Drum.

This is primitive camping at the edge of a field, with no electric or water at your site. A Community Tent will offer electricty for a coffee pot, hot plate, and phone charging area. There will also be tables and a non-drinking water tank. Tents are preferred, but a few RVs are possible (again, no electric). Volunteers pitching a tent, pays nothing per night, however RV’s and campers cost $20 a night per day. In addition, each person needs to sign up for their volunteering duties for the weekend.

We have several areas one can help with – greeter, gofer, parking guide, help with set-up (Thur. & Fri.) or take down (Sun. & Mon.), daily trash duty, nightly security duty, EMT volunteering, or other areas.

The Summer Solstice Celebration is to promote the multitude of aspects associated with Serpent Mound, from who made it to how is it used today! This is a Public Festival! We are looking for individuals that would be interested in helping us educate the public in areas of…

~ Historical and Ancient Knowledge, Traditional Skills and Crafts, Dowsing, Ley Lines, Archaeoastronomy, Archaeology, Standing Stones, Crop Circles, Mound Builders, Artifacts, Stories and Legends, springs, and waterways…

~ Along with the appreciation of nature - bird watching, herbs, wild flowers, native plant foraging, Earth Friendly ways, hiking and more…

~ Along with ways to enjoy Summer!

If you have, a special talent in a field mentioned above that would help us improve the festival, one can fulfill your volunteering requirement with a 30-45 minute demonstration or hike. Please, explain what you would like to offer on the registration form and we will inform you if it will qualify thanks!

Please feel out this form, fill it out and email it to us. The address is on the form. Once approved we will notify you, and if you need to pay for camping you can mail it or pay with the link below via PayPal:
